Our Story

Georgette Robroeks

The name is

 

The name “Georgette” is of French origin, derived from the Greek name “Georgos,” meaning “one who works on the land.” This connection to the earth is at the heart of the company. “House of Georgette” stands for everything that nurtures and enhances a home, with a deep respect for nature and the environment.

Growing up in a rural part of southern France, Georgette developed a deep love for animals from an early age. Moving back to the Netherlands sculptured by different cultures she developed a high sense for equality.

As a child Georgette imagined her surroundings transformed into something new. In her early twenties Georgette moved to the United Kingdom where she made some of her dreams come true with minor property development and finished Architecture at the University of Portsmouth.
After a decennium living oversees it was time to return to the Netherlands. With the recession she settled for various alternative work which included sales. Her love to move abroad and experience different cultures brought her to Italy for a few years.

In 2024 till end….

 

In 2024 House of Georgette was founded. Specialized in unique, high-quality products that enriches the home and contribute to the well-being of the planet for everybody to enjoy the world has to offer.
